Drabble Challenge for Friday, August 16th is: melt

Add an acrostic poem using the random word.

He was everything Suzy had imagined, tall, muscular and with tats that made her swoon in their perfection.

Manly

Every muscle taut and defined

Luscious lips

Tempting always

How fortunate that they had met at the party where she looked pretty ravishing herself, and not at the gym where her hair determinedly stuck to her scalp …not a great look at the best of times.

And so they hung out together feverishly counting the seconds until they could meet again.

At least that’s what Suzy had assumed until … until she saw them together.

One in every port, she thought!

If you’re not already on board with writing drabbles, (short, 100-word stories, no more, no less,) do yourself a favour. Get stuck in! They are a lot of fun to write, but also serve as a lesson in tight writing, given the 100-word constraint.
