You know Susan, financial ruin hurts. I hurts a lot. But you do get over it. You adjust your sails, and find an ocean that now resonates with the new Susan, and your boat somehow stays afloat. In time there is peace, and right in the midst of all of this, you discover two young humans you've managed to nurture and rebuild, and you realize you did that all by yourself. One thing I'm certain of is that your ex is not a happy man. No amount of wealth can salve a conscience. Gosh life is bloody hard, and yet there are so many good times. They're what we have to focus on. I bet your kids are super-proud of you. :)
