Yes the food industry has got us covered. Remember the wonderful Pringles? I so adored them and wondered how they'd managed to get potatoes that spooned so beautifully against each other. What a miracle! It was our weekend treat.

These days I buy none of these, not ever!

I never thought the day would come when real scientists would prostitute themselves for money...lots of it knowing full well the impact of their getting the sweetness, the crunchiness, the moreish flavors just right, to have us begging for more and more.

How did we ever trade the humble egg, meat, vegetables and fruit for such?
