Why not get together and build a trash house? That's a much more effective and environmentally-sound way of re-using old rubber tyres.
These houses never need heating (the walls are the diameter of the tyres, so thick). I could go on,but this YouTube will explain it better.
I wanted to build one years ago, but couldn't get permission in Canberra.
