When An Airbnb Host Is Dodgy In The Extreme, Blocks All Negatives So She Can Keep Her 5-Star Rating
and you can’t do a bloody thing about it ’cause Airbnb ducks for cover, it’s simply not fair
I first became aware of Airbnb some ten years ago.
Friends were raving about it.
So much better than your average hotel or motel accommodation, I was assured.
And so we all jumped in. Something new. Possibly better. More homely feel than a hotel or motel.
And for a while it did seem so, for some.
For us it was a mixed bag. For the most part it was not good.
As a business model that makes eye-watering amounts of dough, it’s not without its faults.
Here are a few bookings we made before we learned better
On one occasion we rented a very nice downstairs apartment.
Unfortunately the woman’s stepson was rather strange.
He certainly didn’t sleep when we wanted to, dropping what seemed to be a metal ball on the floor, every night we were there.
