It’s been a while since I’ve seen the likes.
The very idea takes me back to my childhood, to spring and the swathes of color that seemed to happen overnight, blanketing the hills in their number.
The beauty of native wildflowers has to be in their resilience, especially in these times when water supply has to be factored into a farming plan. Native plants are those that belong to a particular locality, native to, demanding so much less water and tending, than other plants, but thriving nonetheless.
Wildflowers in many ways are the heralds of spring, and though they provide this huge swell of happiness, their benefits are much more wide-reaching.
