So happy for you that you now have your son back in your family.

I remember a colleague telling me about becoming pregnant and weeping in her mother's arms. Her mother stopped her and said, 'This is my grand child you are crying over. We will get through this This child was meant to be' and so it was. She married her partner and went on to have five more children.

For the life of me I simply cannot wrap my head around the element of shame that was attached to young mothers getting pregnant all those years ago.

Much of this is to do with religion of course.
