What a story Arpad. I loved it, and if I ever had ambition to become a chef, it's well and truly gone.
Interesting about the Irish stew. I am half Irish and my mum used to make her version of Irish stew that we all loved, but the meat base was offal.
Great story. I am now suffering from overwhelm. The glamour of some of your achievements elude me, like carving from ice...something that would melt.
As for the guy who scared you, did he ever find out it was a labour of love?
