I grew up with lots of sugar, and the more I ate, the more I craved it.
It's been over ten years since I simply stopped buying sugar itself, but also buying anything processed because, as you and I know, processed food is very high on sugar.
We don't do much in the way of fruit either, choosing berries for the most part.
Occasionally very occasionally I will eat a piece of salted dark chocolate that I buy from Aldi.
If you can keep you insulin levels in check, you won;t crave so much.
