What a bad parent you were May!!! The one time your son wasn't read to, is now embedded in his memory.

It's interesting the things our children remember, not the many times we were patient, or fun, or generous with our time, but that one night when ....

As for reading to our classes, it's probably the most vital aspect of teaching, the creation of context, the building of suspense, the disappointment...it's real-life and our children are putty in our hands...for a time at least.

Great to get the drama students to read. The know!!!
