Well now Linda - that was a breath of fresh air. I m reading this advice each day before I even start to write.

To be honest I had wondered about much of this. In the time I have been here, I have read some of what Alison Tennent (Garrulous Glaswegian) would call gob shite, and they have fans hanging on their every word, which leads me to wonder if I came in the wrong Medium door.

Having said that, I have lots to learn myself. It's a while since I checked stats or wondered if Medium had paid me any more than coffee money.

So I will take your sage, but hugely-entertaining advice, and read it daily until I have an audience that hangs on my ever word. Like a famous writer once said: Write when you're drunk and edit when you're sober. Wish me well. :)
