We started training our daughter when she was around 6 months old. We'd jut arrived in Canberra and found this delightful Vietnamese restaurant.
We loved the food and our daughter loved the rice. Can you even imagine the mess she made?
each time I would ask for a broom to sweep things up, but no, they would never allow that.
"Too easy! Too easy!' they'd say in their broken English.
Over the years we became from friends and would bring our daughter's Vietnamese friends too, and then their parents would join us.
Such fond memories where respect is met with respect and so much more.
You are tight when you talk about the restrain many Asians engage in when people are clearly disrespectful. How anyone can think it's okay to use someone's business premise for their children's convenience , is totally beyond me.
But the message we convey to our children when we do so, beggars belief.
