We get them in the house too.

Last year I was bringing wood into the house and found these particular critters had migrated to the wood pile, thousands of them.

I've never seen insects like this, quite beautiful in bright green and red.I ended up taking all the wood to the far corner of the garden and brushing them off to set them free.

They never returned, which I was grateful for.

It never ceases to amaze me how these critters work together to be safe.

Same with birds here now the stone fruit is almost ready.

Some how they manage to tell their mates there's a feast up for grabs, and there they are , a veritable group of party-goers gorging themselves on one day, coming back the next day to poop on the verandah!
