Vuyo...I was a teacher for many years, and we had no police in the school, and certainly, when I was growing up in Scotland, there were NO teachers on duty in the playground. AND NOTHING EVER HAPPENED!

But these days we have the helicopter parents, the legal system breathing down our necks, and it's all very much playing by the strictest of rules.

I'm not sure what is better, the laissez faire approach of my youth where I remember being punished for being me (a talker), or the straight jacket system of today. Different times for sure.
