Until recently I had not even heard of the vagus nerve, and then I read Andy Murphy's writing here on Medium.
I have been implementing his breathing exercises (vagus nerve) and I cannot believe the difference it has made.
I rise refreshed in the morning, after an excellent night's sleep. It's totally changed my life. I used to toss and turn trying to get to sleep, and now I don't. Mind you, I use every opportunity to practice breathing...especially during my long walks in the day. Here's a link to him if you are interested.
