To be honest Megan, there should be a law against going to university at that age. How vulnerable you must have been. Obviously you survived it, but not many would not.
I once taught a boy who was nearly three years younger than others in the class. He was much smarter than all of them, but at the end of the day, he was just a little boy, and some of the less-able students gave him curry.
When he reached the last year of primary school, his parents saw the light and sent him to a gifted and talented primary school to repeat year six at his level. That was a great decision. He spent a year with very talented students.
He's now a film maker. Great outcome, but it could easily have been otherwise.
