This is such a sad story, and I do have to wonder how a woman of such incredible courage, would be stricken with cancer. It seems so unfair.

I don't have word of courage and I don't want to assure you that your sadness will pass. That just doesn't happen. What does happen is you learn to live with your loss, you start to see your daughter unfold in her children , the way they laugh, smile, deal with a problem, and you realise that not all is lost. In so many ways she will always be with you.

Your grandchildren? Children do heal better than we can, and easier too, but they will always need their mum. Who better to substitute than you, Nancy? In some ways they are very lucky. hanks for sharing your journey. :)
