This is a piece that many of us would have liked to have written, Keri. This speaks to the heart of the shitty inequity that many of us feel we can do nothing about. And if that is the case, then change can never take place.

But I know that is not the case. The world is changing. There are many people who care and we have to step out of our comfort zone and chip away at the selfishness and the myopia, the mantle we wear because we feel impotent.

Well impotence is an excuse. We can write about what we see. We can have opinions about what we see. And we have an obligation to be a central part of that change.
