This could easily have been a post about my cousin. Theresa was the personification of badness. She was a year older than I was, but we were often in the same classes. My friend and I often got to correct students' work because we were first finished. She hated us for that, me in particular. I paid for that in so many ways, yet if the teacher ever found out things she had done, she'd say: 'Theresa would never do that.' Theresa did, often, but she was very pretty and teachers loved her.
