There’s an American-Indian quote that goes something like this: When all the rivers are dried up, and the last tree cut down, only then will the white man realize that he can’t eat money.
Yes I know, talking about the environment is akin to spitting in the wind. But wanton consumerism, not driven by envy, by the way, drives me to distraction. Do yourself a favor, and give the show a miss. It’s not entertaining, and it’s in-your-face indulgence at its worst.
We eat meat, not a lot, but we do. We just stay away from crappy factory offerings, which, to be honest, makes life a bit hard, as I make everything from scratch. Convenience food IS very convenient!
