Amethyst was a witch. She loved to make soup, with a large spoonful of frogs tossed in for ultimate flavour.
That night she was making it for all those disgusting snotty-nosed children who would knock on her door for Halloween looking for sugary frogs, of all things.
This year she would offer frog soup.
But she hadn’t factored in that frogs are agile, and she, old and fragile!
As she chased these anurans around her cauldron, she tripped over it.
The whole Anuran tribe somehow got her to the hospital waiting room, and then, they instantly hopped away.
This drabble is loosely based on the hilarious children’s story titled: A Spoonful of Frogs.
