The plastics industry does not give a fig about the environment. Remember the: reduce, reuse, recycle mantra? Well, behind the scenes, when we were all doing our bit, they were producing more and more.

I do my best to recycle, but it helps little. I don't want to buy ream in a plastic tub, but that is all there is. Our clothes are pure plastic, as are our carpets and blinds. We are constantly breathing plastic.

I believe our planet is doomed.
