The keto diet is about severely reducing your carbs to between 20 and 50 gms per day. A diabetic for instance would be 20gm.

I stick to somewhere between that because it removes any inflammation (runners' knees, for instance) in me.

There are some really good alternatives to bread, and cereals, all available online.

Check out The Diet Doctor. If I ever want credible information, that's my first port of call. It was started up by Dr Andreas Eindfeldt, but now has a wonderful team of health specialists on board.

One thing I do is mini-fasting. I don't eat after 8pm, and by-pass breakfast. This means I have brunch around eleven.

Your diet is fine, but Weetbix and brown sugar would not sit well in a Keto diet.

Having said that, we have to have some treats in life. 💜
