That reminds me of some years ago when I was teaching second-year teaching students. So many of them feared writing. Some admitted to hating it. As you may imagine I suggested they had one of two options, one being to learn to love it through fair means and foul, the other being to consider another career path.

Of course I didn't quite leave it at that, but it challenged me to change my trajectory.
