That is so bad, Carole. I don't even know what to say. Maybe if we stopped two things:

1. Worrying about students getting the highest leaving cert scores to get into medicine. HINT: I'm certain I could have become a doctor, and I am no Rhodes scholar.

2. Making a fabulous bedside manner, and empathetic responses to patients' needs, a priority.

Then just maybe we'd have a community of doctors, world-wide, who care more about health than the almighty dollar. GRRR!
