Thanks Susan. You are right. Imagine how boring our lives would be if we were never exposed to crippling situations.

Of all people you would understand this,

Despite the sleepless nights you suffered, and the agony of watching your child lose confidence, you emerged triumphant.

I felt much the same way after my first shower, and even better when I'd put a few weeks between the actual situation and absolute recovery, and eventually being able laugh about it and to share it with the world.

Life...despite our setbacks, is really very beautiful. :)
