Thanks Patrick. As I said.I understand judges and their support of the underdog. I've written in support of people who have been so badly treated by landlords. It happens, and it's sickening.

In this case, the judge clearly didn't take time to read the exchanges in emails tendered by my daughter. Had she done this, the outlook would have been a lot more fair.

"In the UK, the laws are more landlord friendly and tenants get screwed over. In South Africa, the laws are more tenant friendly and landlords get screwed over."

In response to this, I'd just like to add, that RE agents should be held to account for not doing their job.

I'm guessing somewhere in you lineage you must be Irish with a name like Patrick Horrigan?
