Thanks Linda. I was a teacher for many years, and saw behavior that was cringeworthy. I used to say to me student teachers, you will always come across the odd student that you don't readily bond with. It's your job to find something. Then you promote that something in the way you respond, and that will be the cues for young students to be inspired by.
