Thanks Leonard. Yes there will always be parents who jump easily to their children's defence, but that repeated grinding down of a child, or anyone for that matter, is what causes the damage.

We don't think enough about the actuality of bullying, and the possible effects, but we should, especially when it can cause such life-long damage.

The 3-part message, simple as it is, I have found to be far the best medicine for bullies. The one I cited was a true case. The boy being bullied was super-popular, and a wonderful human being, yet this one male student, not even in the same ball park academically, just broke him down. I had no idea. It actually had a wonderful outcome, by the way!
