Thank you Trisha. Age and time-up will get us in the end, but in the meantime, we don’t have to live crippled in pain, having lost all enthusiasm for life.
I was a serious runner for many years, including marathons. and I eventually had to give up because I was convinced that my knees needed serious surgery.
It was about that time that we switched to keto and three weeks later I suddenly wasn’t waking in pain.
I had a friend, also a runner, who was going in for replacements and I told home about mine. “No,” he said, “mine’s bone on bone!” Well that’s exactly how mine felt. But not any more.
Incidentally, he had the surgery and it didn’t work. I should add, his diet is pretty crappy!
If you look at my comment to Sherry just above, I have placed two links to sites that are terrific. The two men are both doctors. I can’t rate their work highly enough.
Good luck with things, and get back to me if you have any questions…things we eat, recipes…it’s not a boring diet…well it could be, but then many people don’t eat keto ad their diets are boring in the extreme.
Thanks for your comment and lovely to meet you.
