Thank goodness for that, Malky.

Your story took me back to a Saturday morning in a Canberra mall.

One minute my daughter was with me. The next she was gone.

Like you I ran everywhere, tears streaming down my face.

Eventually a lady stopped me and asked if I'd lost my daughter.

I had.

Is she dressed in pink?

She was.

Did she like rocking chairs?

She did.

'Then I think you will find her in that shop. I wondered who she belonged to. I should have reported her, but I wasn't sure.'

Like you, I hugged her tightly, the tears of relief flowing freely. I have never been so scared or so relieved.

My life could have been irrevocably changed that day. Fortunately it wasn't, as with you.💜

As for the librarian ... she should have lost her job
