Such a sad story Sally. I feel that at least she made up for many years of keeping you at bay, until she realised what she had missed over the years.

Life is short. I wish people could realise that and make efforts to try to see the best in each other.

I'm sure you both miss and forgive her. Fortunately people like you focus on the good, rather than the less so.

It's six months today since my husband died. I had 24 hours to get used to his passing. It was such a shock, despite the doctors reminding me of how gravely-ill he was.
