Such a good read, Trisha.
Your reaction to sugar is an interesting one. I remember as a child spending my pocket money on what we called sweeties, and feeling so sick I swore I'd never do it again...but I had a whole week to forget about how awful I felt, and the story played out yet again.
We have no sugar in our home...actually that's not quite true. Very occasionally I will buy some organic dark chocolate from Aldi, but we only ever eat one square. One block lasts a while.
Our daughter is getting married in a few weeks and she asked if I thought a wedding cake was necessary, because really nobody likes it.
She's right. For the most part nobody does, so no wedding cake.
Good luck with your journey, Trisha. I think you have already told yourself that sugar is nobody's friend. One day you will look at the few things you think you love and find that you no longer do. 💖💖💖
