Sorry about the triple responses below. I have tried to delete them, but can't.

My mother was plagued by migraines and I'm sure it never occurred to her that diet could help.

As for myself, I was a serious distance runner for many years but eventually had to give up because of the pain in my knees. I would wake in the night in tears.

For reasons unrelated to my knees, I totally cleaned my diet, no processed food, of any kind. I did and do eat meat, but not a lot, and fish only if I know it's not farmed. It too three weeks for me suddenly to notice that my knees no longer hurt.

I have stayed true (mostly) to a keto diet and the pain has never returned. Wat we eat does affect us.
