Same here, Bebe, but those friendships for us at least, were forged through children, and schooling, for us at least.

Our next home was totally different..a huge welcoming committee (not!), and when we left we still didn't know any of them.

Our current home is proving to be much the same, give or take our new neighbors who have just moved in. Young enough to be our children, they are hugely friendly.
