Sally the biggest investment I made in my daughter learning to drive, was to hire Mike, the husband of a friend.

Mike was a policeman who trained cops how to drive in emergencies.

Mike insisted he didn't need to be paid. So I didn't pay him.

BUT, I kept a record of every lesson, then paid him when she passed her test.

He had three kids, and so to him, this was a sizeable amount of cash in hand.

Best investment ever.
