Remember The Best, Easiest, Keto Bread Recipe I Shared Recently?
Now it’s better, bursting with flavour, and is very moreish.
Not so long ago I shared this recipe. It’s the best keto bread in my opinion. Better still, it takes no time at all to put together.
Since I posted it, I have done a few variations, but before I tell you about them, I discovered quite by accident, the versatility of flax seed.
I was making a couple of loaves the other day, too early for me, and couldn’t remember whether I had added the water to the eggs. I thought not, so added a half cup.
I knew in an instant that I had doubled the amount of water, but sloppy as it was, I put it in the oven along with another one. The one with double the water I baked another five minutes, but it came out taller and lighter than the other one. Still really good.
Flax seed is a thirsty seed, so absorbs liquid easily.
So that’s what I have been doing one cup, instead of a half.
To vary things I have baked one with sliced black olives, half a cup, or to your liking.
That is delicious with cheese, as is the one I did with sun-dried tomatoes.
