Rebecca, that is not just sad, but totally audacious. Who gives these government bodies the imprimatur to take agency over one spot on earth and basically desecrate it? It breaks my heart.
I also see it here. What was once beautiful countryside is choking on the greed of a few, and as you say, young people have little hope of ever buying a home.
There's all this talk of climate change, but here if you are a super-consuming business, you can buy carbon credits from other agencies to trade your way out of responsibility.
