Randy I remember being afraid of DS children, that being because they were hidden.

And now, the more I write about them, and the experience I have had in teaching them, I applaud them as beautiful human beings.

A teacher friend of mine, with ix children, one with DS, said to me....he calls me princess, he never back chats, and I don't have to worry about where he is at night.

I would add to that, that they can and do learn, and the more we expect of them, the better they respond.

I love that we see them in roles on TV, some are models, others run businesses, and I know one that achieved a Bachelor of Arts, the course NOT having been watered down.
