Patricia I can't say for certain, but it happened when we were trying to get help for our daughter who was sick. I would always have said our diet was pretty good, but I found out that it wasn't so much.

What I did was cut out all ultra-processed foods, so all sugars, read labels, cut out many carbs, and basically went back to scratch. It was very hard at first, but over time it became second nature.

I miss bread and will have it occasionally, very occasionally, but usually I make my own.

I was once a distance runner, but the knee pain was horrendous and had to give up. Some three weeks after committing to Keto, I realized the pain was gone.

I take a lot of advice form the Diet Doctor, a Swedish group, and from Canadian r nephrologist, Dr.Jason Fung.
