Pamela I was checked for this after my miscarriages, and told all was well. I knew it wasn't. In my 40s I have a hysterectomy for a cyst that was ten centimetres, according to my surgeon. It was five and half pounds.

At the time I was a serious runner, and there was no evidence of the growth, but the hugely-painful periods were evidence that things were not good.

My surgeon himself was surprised by the size of the growth, and told me my scar would have been much bigger had he had any idea.

What I loved was, the first time I went through a shopping mall and was offered free tampons to test. :)
