Our Christmases were pretty ordinary. Somehow, though, we loved whatever we were given, except one Christmas when I got a sewing machine. I was not one bit interested in sewing. Stockings were always stuffed with fruit and a few chocolate Santas, and maybe some hair clips and the likes.
