One Day Your Time on Earth Will Cease

Yet your remains could live on meaningfully

I’m not a great fan of cemeteries. Some people love to spend an afternoon wandering through the maze of sculptures learning about the deceased.

To me that is somewhat macabre. Once you’re dead, that’s it as far as I am concerned, and life for others goes on.

It’s the natural cycle of things.

So earth to earth, dust to dust, eventually … though given how we are presently interred, wooden boxes, lining, and bodies dressed in clothes, the whole process of one’s body returning to the earth must surely take much longer than it ought to.

Cost of traditional coffins (an funerals) aside, it’s why many people opt for cremation. The process is simple, and if you must, and want to, those ashes can adorn your mantelpiece for a long time.

But what if you could make your body work for the earth, kind of give back, would that have much more meaning for you? Would you find it comforting?

Imagine an alternative way of leaving this earth.

Imagine being the lead player in the beginning of new life.

Imagine resting in a place where your lifeless body becomes an intrinsic part of nature.
