Once again I agree with everything you say. I think we may regret allowing our children easy access to technology.
I read some time ago about a family that took their kids off technology for a year. The results were astounding. More books were read, more outdoor activities were factored into weekends, children were compliant, but at the end of the year they decided technology was here to stay, and their children would suffer if they didn't have access. I just hope the lessons learnt being without it, protected them in some ways. It's so easy to be hooked!
