OMG, Susan, a Medium friend of mine has been on my case to write for the writing COOP, and I THINK I have the answer. I'll get back to you on that.

As for being a professional writer, I do have a grad dip in that, but i doubt it has served me so well. I've just always enjoyed the written word, and for years used to write for desperate colleagues, and I've written (self-published) books, but that's about it.

What I loved was teaching writing and I can think of three past students who should have become writers...one is now a chemist doling out pills in a shop all day. If it were at all proper to swear on Medium, I would be so tempted. You can lead all them 'orses to water, but...:)
