Oh my goodness Scott, the more I read and learn about autism, the more I wonder, and feel guilty about, having short-changed the odd student.

In Scotland we would have referred to this sort of child/student, as thrawn, a word I haven't used in years, because I am a long-time Aussie, but it describes a few of my students.
