Oh my goodness Linda, thought I knew about some of this, I had no idea about the percentage. Nor have I ever heard of the 'sh' response...as if the person had something shameful to hide.

I can only imagine the agony of parents being forced to make a decision in such a short space of time. Their regret post surgery, I can't imagine.

And of course then we have people saying things like, was it something we did, or didn't do.

Thank you for sharing this sad story, because the more we understand that things happen, and that things have always happened, and that people are still genuine humans who need compassion and not to be seen as freaks, the better.
