Not at all, Valerie. I lived through the Canberra bush fires. Don't know when I felt such fear. Fire seemed to be lapping all around us, and there was no escape.

And later the NSW coastal fires (a few hours from here) I wept buckets of tears as I watched firemen risk life and limb to bring things under control.

I think we are all suffering.
