My mum died of stomach cancer. The treatment was horrific. When she was close to death, she, a firm Christian, decided that the hereafter was a hoax. That was the level of her pain and sickness. She was 72, and much too with it, to die.

To be honest, I believe that chemo is still experimental.

Some years ago, the percentage of oncologists prepared to subject themselves to chemo, was miserably low. I tried to find some up to date data on the subject but haven't been able to source anything.

Allow me to change course and suggest that there are things we can do to protect ourselves to some extent. Of course nothing is guaranteed.

Have a look at this YouTube by Dr. Jason Fung. He is a firm advocate of fasting which allows the body to heal. Adopting that into our lives, I believe, gives us a better chance.

Also, and I know there are other issues at play, avoiding processed food is a huge thing. I'm not talking about when you have cancer, but when you have not! The junk that is on offer in supermarkets cannot possibly serve us well.
