My mother had polio as a child, so basically from 18 months with a disability of sorts, though peris the thought that you even mention the did word in her hearing.

There was nothing she couldn't do (except dance, maybe, though she was musical) but she knew her limitations, so she adapted, took her time, waited until the crowds thinned out. She hated the 'Can I help you?' question.

She had three small accidents, in her life, none of them her fault, and seven children ALL of them her fault.

Great post. I lift weights too.
